Education

North Castle has many great educational opportunities. Those living in North White Plains attend Valhalla Union Free School District, and those in Armonk and Banksville attend Byram Hills Central School District.

Each of North Castle's three hamlets offer wonderful dining experiences. From Westchester's best bagels in Armonk and Ralph's famous Italian ices in North White Plains, and Finch's Country Store in Banksville, you'll find many locally owned restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy.

History

An early refuge for people fleeing religious persecution, North Castle became an established settlement in 1730. It was the site of several significant events in the Revolutionary War, including George Washington's headquarters at the Elijah Miller House! North Castle eventually was home to one of the earliest airports in the County drawing famous flyers such as Charles Lingbergh.

Employment

Despite its country feel North Castle is home to several large, global companies. Long the world headquarters of IBM and MBIA, Armonk is home to several large business parks providing office space for businesses of all sizes and types. Its easy location off of I-684 makes North Castle a great destination to work.
